Buzzy started making crosses in large quantities over a decade for a retired businessman, who would then provide and sell them to benefit local charities.
The production of the crosses is unique in that they are hand-cut and sanded one at a time.
Small, personal crosses have been around for over a thousand years and are used to remind us of our devotion to God.

Each cross is hand-cut using a viva 500 bandsaw with grade 5 blades.
Once the crosses are all cut, each cross is hand-sanded by a very special technique using a custom sanding dowel.
The final stage of making the crosses is to add 5 coats of clear satin resin. The resin creates a semi-waterproof barrier and adds durability.
