This rift-sawn white oak bedroom is part of a larger project that Buzzy worked on with a lovely Charleston couple who were building a beach house on Saint Helena Island Sound. The bedroom includes a headboard, floating bedside shelves, and a bed frame with perimeter lighting around the base. Make sure to see the matching master bathroom and kitchen.

In addition to building the matching kitchen and master bathroom vanity with linen closet for this Charleston couple, they had asked for help to design a headboard that turned into an entire wall of sequenced matching panels. Everything tied in perfectly with the custom floating bed frame and floating bedside tables.

Buzzy was contacted by a local Architect to create a quarter-sawn white oak king bed as a birthday present for his wife, this was something they had talked about for years. The bed was his design with a few extra details from Buzzy and his team.
